my vision of you
as i look out through me
and the invisible distance
that i count in between
the sums seeming endless
but the numbers still finite
to the light from the day
still burning at midnight
and the spot where i stand
when i zoom out to space
makes a whole other shape
that resembles a face
bending on ends
but still bowed at the edge
like some ribbon reflection
of two featureless heads
